In the fall of 2016 I had the pleasure of being a part of a select group of artists to contribute to an internal employe project at Pinterest called the Pinterest Memory Box. The Pinterest Memory Box is a box that commemorates key milestones and jokes over the past year inside Pinterest. In short, it’s a box full of inside jokes.

I was given a list of ten events, or queues. My job was to illustrate an interpretation of them from an outsider’s perspective. For instance, the “Coffin Nails” illustration was derived from an internal Slack thread discussion on the confusion of “coffin nails”. Needless to say, this was a fun assignment!
